Police are searching for the mother of a three-year old girl who was abandoned in a bathroom at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel and casino, video footage capturing their trip to the Las Vegas strip resort.

Detectives believe the woman to be 26-year old Miriam Ramos, described in press reports as being known to “frequent casinos along the Strip, as well as in downtown Sin City.”

The child, believed to be her daughter and who was unharmed, was left alone in a restroom next to the casino on the morning of December 29th.

Surveillance footage shows the mother and toddler taking a cab to the nearby Fashion Show mall some time earlier that day. The cab driver told detectives that Ramos enquired about “the nearest shelter” during the journey.

After leaving her daughter in the Wynn, Ramos was last seen walking away from the hotel and casino complex. She was reportedly wearing “a blonde wig, a blue Bebe shirt and a yellow jacket,” and had several suitcases with her.
